This is the original home of the Tough Guy and Gal Challenge. The event is located at Lakes Ranch, an outdoor pursuit / equestrian centre 15 minutes east of Rotorua on SH30. Just follow the signs to Hells Gate and Lakes Ranch is located directly opposite. This venue provides a magnificent course with spectacular scenery for the ultimate experience. The course includes water trails, net climb, crawl under barb wire obstacles, swamp crossings, native bush trail, wobbly water bridge, open paddock running, hurdles, wire rope bridge plus a new surprise! A six kilometre (one lap) or 12 kilometre (two laps) options are available.andnbsp;
The facilities include hot showers, large hot swimming pool, backpacker style accommodation, the Lakes Ranch cafe and good parking.andnbsp;
Numbers are limited to 2000 competitors per day
PARTY TIME
The Kingsgate Rotorua will host an official After Party for both Rotorua events. We will be filming the Tough Guy and Gal event and will play an edited version on the big screen at the hotel, corner of Fenton Street and Ward Ave. Come along at 5.30pm, grab a bite to eat from Jimmy Cooks Kiwi Kitchen - light or full buffet meals will be available.andnbsp;
A live band will entertain you from 7pm - 11pm and there will be great deals on Waikato Draught.andnbsp;
There is no entry charge for the Tough Guy and Gal after party, and a great time will be had by all!
