In relation to Quest Christchurch we provide the following update:
Despite widespread damage to the Buildings in the CBD area; the Quest Christchurch Complex itself stood up to the Earthquake particularly well. The structural integrity of the building has not been compromised and the damage we have sustained is predominantly cosmetic.
On Tuesday 10 May we were granted access to the premises with a Team of 11 people and were able to access and clear all but 2 rooms of the entire Quest Christchurch Complex. A freight forwarding company has been commissioned to have all guests belongings returned to their respective owners (both nationally and internationally). If you have not already, please email your forwarding address to info@questchristchurch.co.nz.
In relation to any future reservations; once we have been granted full access to the building and the area; we are confident that our team will have the business of Quest Christchurch up and running within a reasonably short period of time
Once we have been provided with definitive dates from the Civil Authorities we will update this website
The team at Quest Christchurch, headed up by Ken and Kimberley are holding up well, receiving support from many avenues and providing great support to each other.
Once again our sincere appreciation to all of those people, including past Quest guests and staff, travel agents and suppliers who have made contact with our organization, with offers of support and/or passing on your prayers and thoughts for those stakeholders who are reliant on or directly involved with Quest Christchurch.
The tourism/accommodation sector is acknowledged as one of the key drivers for the Christchurch Economy, we look forward to Quest Christchurch with the support from many returning to play its role in assisting the economy of the Christchurch region in moving forward.

Quest Christchurch is located in the heart of the commercial, arts and tourist precinct of Christchurch, offers 70-quality studio, one, two & three bedroom apartments in one of New Zealand’s truly unique complexes.
The purpose built property is “on” the inner city Tram loop, and features a mix of new and heritage architecture including the largest glazed atrium in the South Island of New Zealand. Incorporated in the complex, is a variety of retail shops, cafes and restaurants. Quest guests will also have access to onsite car park at $12.50 per night.
Quest Apartments Christchurch opened in January 2004 providing the standard suite of Quest Services. Each Apartment has available, Qantas Frequent Flyer points, breakfast packs, restaurant charge back and pantry shopping.
