Quest Apartment Hotels New Zealand are very proud to announce they have joined the Sustainable Business Network as an Impact Investor

The Covid 19 pandemic has had a devastating impact on hospitality businesses who have been faced with the sudden loss of guests and income. All businesses have had to make changes to ensure their survival.

What hasn’t changed is Quest’s focus on sustainability.

We have 38 properties throughout our Network with 4 more properties arriving in 2023/2024. Sustainability is continuing to be a key focus moving forward and we are pleased to be continuing our sustainability journey with installing more EV chargers, solar panels and refillable toiletry dispensers. We will also be putting a focus on how our suppliers operate and what their approach to sustainability is. We aim to do what we can throughout the network and believe the small changes matter.

 

The Sustainable Business Network are doing incredible things and here is a little bit about them.

Established in 2002, they are New Zealand’s largest, longest-standing sustainable business organisation.

Sustainable Business Network (SBN) is a network that enables system change in the areas of climate, waste and nature.

SBN are a social enterprise, a community and a movement. Their role is to transform leading ideas into action in Aotearoa.  

SBN’s network consists of hundreds of progressive organisations and people that collectively invest in and act on system change.

Their purpose is to empower business, so people and nature prosper.

Their mission is building unstoppable momentum to regenerate Aotearoa New Zealand.

How they work

  • collaborate to co-create solutions to some of the biggest problems in New Zealand in the areas of climate, waste and nature.
  • share, celebrate and promote these solutions throughout the wider community to help them become mainstream and have greater impact.
  • build sustainability capability in businesses by providing training, advice and resources.
  • foster partnerships and connections between organisations in our network to make it easy to have a sustainable supply chain.
